Hitachi Zosen Corp. is a Japanese manufacturing company that until recently was involved in shipbuilding and other heavy machinery production. On October1, 2002, NKK Corporation and Hitachi Zosen Corporation integrated their shipbuilding operations to begin a new era of efficiency and effectiveness as Universal Shipbuilding Corporation.

This combines Universal Shipbuilding Corporation inherits NKK's 90-year with Hitachi-Zosen's 120-year history making the laters builder's plates more desireable as collector items then ever before.

Plates such as these because of their unique designs make wonderful decorating accents in homes and offices that are trying to achieve something differnent in the way of the unusual and striking.

.

Every builder's plate we offer is authentic. We guarantee it or your money back. No questions asked. Unfortunately, shipping and handling is not included in this offer. These exclusive plates are from the world's ship wrecking yards and are the last vestige of the these fine vessels. The supply is rapidly declining.

Our inventory of these plates changes rapidly, and therefore we do not show prices here, but they range from $375 to $2000 depending on the plate's rarity. Please inquire by email to info@orientalartsgroup.com
for all details, and our current inventory.

For those with an interest in seafaring, the collection of shipbuilder's plates is a consuming passion. It takes a lot of time to do the research, but the rewards of owning a builder's plate for a vessel whose history has been documented by you is a very satisfying experience in deed.

Some say, collecting plates is a pretty esoteric hobby, with maybe just 15-20 real serious collectors in the world, most of whom have a direct connection with the maritime industry or naval service.  Other collectors of nautica, are joing this exclusive group so that the demand and prices are likely to sky rocket.
